It sort of sits a bit outside it. 650+s like the SV, Ninja 650 etc are a good bit heavier - the 690 duke is down on power, but a good bit lighter than those bikes. So in a head to head, it'd expect it to perform well against those bikes

What's up everyone. I have a pretty bone stock 2021 smcr690 other than tekmo titanium header with arrow exhaust. My question is this. I'd like to increase the top speed of the bike by a little bit without losing the capability of doing a 3rd gear wheelie. Right now with me (205lbs) It's topping out around 170kms. I'd like to increase that.

For the record, I am 5'11" (178cm) with broad shoulders. I wear an HJC FG-17 helmet, not cheap, but not high end. The screen rises to about 170mm (about 7") above the instrument cluster (measured from the inside). It is 280mm at it's widest point, 200mm at the top. The pic is the "generic" pic from Puig but accurate.
